On a tangent here from pin ball machines, I was watching something on youtube this afternoon and took a screen shot of heads, hearts and tails collection in jars.
What for me was interesting were the oils coming through when cutting into tails (last 5 jars on RHS).
In summer the bushfires rage and rage
And rage on such beautiful days
And we fight them with water that runs through the cracks
Water we're desperately trying to save
So I'll just live on wine and water my vines
And sleep on the wind with the fires right behind
And sing on the beaches and swim through the night
Oh we'll cry, "Pass the wine, pass the wine, pass the wine"
Neighbor Brewery that made us a stout mash for whiskey put the same stout recipe in the freshly emptied barrel for a month and then put it on tap... Phenomenal beer and the name is kinda cool too!
New place near me spent half a million on German still, million on restaurant and bar. Doesn't make a friggin thing. It was all for show. They buy the liquors they are selling in bar.
I've asked several people if they will let me run it for the experience. Response was, "AND GET IT DIRTY?"
@DonMateo. I see a few Australian familiar ones. How does that price convert to say US $
I was thinking of a Pisco sour last night. Might do it tonight - in fact might make the sugar syrup right now. It was only a few years ago I was hunting Pisco and nigh on every bottle shop I went into had never heard of it.
Good day for indoors. 46.6 C here right now. A day to hide from the world. And we got 4 more of them coming. Apart from a few outdoor excursions to water under the trees for the birds and a mid day water down for the chooks and ducks it’s strictly hide.
@gd50 the pisco here coat about $10 for average stuff $20 for decent pisco and 30 to 40 for artesenal top shelf. So its like typical product range for booze, that is in coutries that donr rape their citizens with tax like the land of oz. Keep cool in the heat mate. Its about 16 to 20 C here.

I’m guessing if they don’t bottle it they don’t need to get lable approval....
Gave me a good chuckle. Now you know what they say to each other every time they see your shadow in the doorway. =))

It's like being in Beijing here atm with the fires. I haven't seen the sun for a month.

Oh that is so spot on!
I visited a place where many gins and vodkas are created for brands.
There was no still in sight.
They simply buy in spirit and add flavours from flavour houses and add the fancy label to a bottle.
They can't keep up with the demand.
There should be a law against it.
There are some companies not far from me who do that.
One supplies rum.
The other gin. Absolutely huge range of flavours. 66 in total.
No sign of any distilling taking place.
Also their "gin" is 31.5% which is not legal in the EU. Needs to be 37.5% minimum.
Bottling place near where I grew up sold to Sazerac for 500 million.
They got rail cars of alcohol every day.
Not good practice seeing as we are known as the Woopi Freeballers. Someones in for a surprise one day.

Ferreira wins Pipe Masters. Slater wins Triple Crown of Surfing
I'm more like I am now than I was before.
Slater got tired of trying to surf on boat wake in Florida and moved to Hawaii. I know how he feels...
