  • Nope, we don’t know the guy who sent in all the bottles either.

  • Even though he said Ryan works for you guys?

  • Congrats on that one

  • All four sound very good @grim. Can you bring some to NOLA in April for us to taste?

  • Not enough copper in SD stills? Am I looking at the wrong catalogs?

  • There's plenty enough if you control your fermentations well.

  • From what I see on the website, there is plenty even if you let your fermentations run wild.

We probably talked to those guys in the early days when Lloyd was with us?

Lloyd was so resistant about more copper because it represented a cost. Even though potential customers were clamoring for more copper.

  • Nice. I like watching those guys

A screenshot from an email I just received.
If not copper, then what is all that reddish brown metal?

Starting to clean up some seriously old stuff lying around, a 200x200 plate and frame filter. Will seriously come in handy.

By the way for Northern Hemisphere people, that's sun that you are seeing as well

  • I was surfing porn the other day and an ad popped up with a pic of toilet paper.
Said " Good thing you stocked up, Premium is now FREE!"

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ... 2 hours and 44 minutes of meh. Another alternate history story from Quentin Tarantino. If I didn’t have a lot of spare time on my hands I might be pissed off at the waste of time. Cool pit bull though. Damien Lewis as Steve McQueen was an interesting casting choice.

I’m starting to think Tarantino has lost it. Three predictable, mediocre movies in a row. Hopefully we’ll see something on par with Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds in the near future.

  • A good watch right now: Contagion (2011)

Steven Soderbergh showed us 9 years ago pretty much exactly what is going on right now (with the usual Hollywood movie exaggeration of course). It's as if nobody in charge (like our own government) has never watched a movie like that, and yes, it really is as bad as depicted (in its own way), so nobody can really claim that they never expected anything like this and that nobody had any idea on how to deal with such a situation.

I learned about viral infections and exponential viral spread through the population in 7th grade biology class in 1968. It gave me nightmares for years. I was mysophobic when it was still considered OCD.

Michael Crichton published The Andromeda Strain in 1969. It was made into a movie released in 1971. As was The Omega Man . There have been gloom and doom end of the world disease movies for decades. HG Wells saved the world with a virus in 1898.

Between killer bugs and the Church of Global Warming dogma, post-apocalyptic fiction is ubiquitous these days. People are obsessed with dystopian future history fiction. I lament the scarceness of new science fiction that is not based on the same old boring zombie apocalypse drivel. I would love to see more movies like 2016’s Passengers

My library is shut. I tried downloading the online books from there but the writing is either tiny or huge and needs scrolling. I was in despair and on my last book when talking to my neighbor yesti.
He asked if i wanted to borrow some Stephen King novels, i agreed instantly. Came back 10 mins later with a milk crate full including the whole Dark Tower series.

Just finished watching season 4 of Better Call Saul. I really like it a lot - even better than Breaking Bad

DAD... not yours.. ah, hell... I don't know...

  • The Pope and Donald Trump are on stage in front of a huge crowd.

The Pope leaned towards Trump and said, “Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy?

This joy will not be a momentary display, like that of your followers, but go deep into their hearts and for the rest of their lives whenever they speak of this day, they will rejoice!"

Trump replies, “I seriously doubt that. With one little wave of your hand? Show me!”

    So the Pope slapped him.

Well, they say you can please some of the people, some of the time.

This guy didn't like being told that i don't do postage quotes on larger systems without payment as it's an hours work to pack, measure and weigh boxes.
Everyone else understands, but an obvious tire kicker (he even says i'm to dumb to realise that he was never going to buy from me) gets a bit ruffled when told i don't mind if he sources elsewhere. This was the next message from him after he told me i was acting illegally by not providing him with a free postage quote and that he was going to the ACCC (consumer affairs) and i said he could report me to A Current Affair too if he liked.

The bit that really cheers me up is that he will either buy from the opposition that copied our products all those years ago before we did development, or from Ali Baba :))

  • I dont know mate. Saying your a dumb cunt is really pushing it. You sold gear to me and its got me going so I think your a really smart cunt really. And not much of a cunt either. A decent bloke. I wish I could have bought more SD gear but I am geographically challenged.

I'm not even fat anymore. And i'd have to drive 40km to get a KFC bucket.

He's right about the cunt though, i often call myself that behind my back.
