fishing is good.
I found this place 20+ years ago when I helped build a house there, its 10mins from downtown Auckland but walking or boat access only.
It's a magic place.
After boiling some water to remove any bad flavours/ chlorine I was rudely suprised at how much crap was left in the bottom of the boil kettle I will now be boiling and filtering before using any water to ferment/brew

I always use, DI water or Spring water. Some of the "good" spring water has salts/minerals that taste better than the DI water. Depends on what you are looking for. Lots of Lime stone in the Kentucky/Tennessee area that adds to the "flavors" in Bourbon. Chlorine is "bad".
