Waiting for the booze can take a long time. Post a picture you have taken while distilling, nothing more. No caption, no explanation, nothing. It has to show something of your still, preparations, mashing, collection or what else you did while distilling.
The idea is to post ORIGINAL pictures that speak for themselves. Please do not copy pictures from elsewhere, only use your own photos. Post the picture, lean back and see what happens. Let others comment if they like.
Please read our guideline for posting images and try not to post more than one picture per day (although as we already know, that rule is flexible, between the lines it means post as you like).
Have fun! :)

all grain bourbon (10kg corn, 4 kg rye & 2kg barley) with a really dry powdery mould... smelt nice & sweet before the run (wasn't game to taste it.) It has a bit of bite after cuts - hoping its the rye... will know in few months... belgian style farm house whiskey?
alll grain, what a damn pity. i can taste it in a distillate, not bad like in a beer, but there if you know what you are looking for.
Some people actually like it, i can take it or leave it.

Looks tasty coops, about what mine started at!
It is what you make it!
yeah i used 1 cup of brown sugar 1 cup of craisins( cranberry raisins) 3 cinnamon sticks 750ml of martinellis cider 0 ABV, 6 red apples 3ltrs of 69% UJ starting to smell good already tried to follow the recipe but used what i had in the cupboard ;) thanks to Wineo, punkin and Benstick
Never had em but thinking a handful of craisins would be a nice snack.
I'd shove a few good handfuls in some booze for a while if I had them.
Anything with apples is a guaranteed hit. I've found that less cinnamon is better cinnamon. It tends to dominate the party.
yeah i have to agree with you Lloyd i opened it up today and it smelt like raisin bread after you've had it in the toaster its recommended to take the cinnamon out after 4 days i may take em out in 3 dont want to wreck the goodness i give my daughter a few craisins each day but if i gave her the bag she would eat the lot in one sitting :)
The large globe jar in the center is stunning, really like it.
Don't see that here but if I did it would be snatched up quick.
Different countries have such cool glassware. Distillers' eyes everywhere envious of such great glass.
I hear-tell Aussies have access to demijohns that westerners like me know little to nothing about.
i think there Italian and yes i got this one in aus i have a few of them that actually
come in handy very much for transferring and larger runs nothing gets the plastic option except for a quick hydrometer test but i will get a glass one eventually
the Mrs hates me getting in the kitchen but i have plenty of this going on at the moment so makes it a lot cleaner if i bring it up from the cellar
120 ltrs of wash converts closely to 80% of hearts on the dash so a 10ltr demi is perfect
i use my 50ltr demijohn to add low wines
Sage words my friend.
I would have said 70% to be conservative but I do trust your experience.
80% abv Lloyd n not volume sorry
Ya buddy it is a battle to counter space, first awake makes coffee and the counter space,I WIN! A few drinks fed to her the night before :D cheers

Very nice captainshooch it's such good view of the craft
@cooperville I used a different set of gaskets that @Smaug sent me and with a little bit of trimming it enabled me to locate the bubble plate inside the sight tower instead of below and inbetween sections and the view is awesome.
Before and after, sort of
? What are the scrolled pieces in back of the column, surround the backside with them and you some jewelry added!
It is what you make it!
