@CothermanDistilling Looks like I will probably be down in Orlando in Sept. I would like to drive over and see you and your place when we are in town. Still finalizing plans but looks like Sept 1-15th we will be in Orlando.
ahh, toilets... it was $900 mistake of handle on the wrong side of both of them when the contractor changed the layout, but no one will complain about the seats!
Very cool photos and stories here of the big SD in action :) In the SQD photo, did he install some kind of copper cip and/or plate disabler manifold running parallel to the column, or is that just my imagination?
Ok so two of our customers have made it to the cover of distillers magazine on the same issue. Y Town runs all SD equipment. BroVo does not run SD distillers as such but we have sold them several hardware items to keep their operation moving forward.
Either way we wish them both much luck and good fortune.
As a forum member it's grate to see you pro's sharing your knowledge with us thank you for that. It's also grate seeing all these SD stills in the pro distillery's. I would love to set up a small vodka distillery one day at the family farm. Buy the wheat strait from the farmer next door.
Got the garage door installed today, looks lice from the outside.... $5000 worth of 140mph impact garage door, 4 months to finally get, and they got almost everything wrong.... was supposed to be a 3" thick door with the steel bracing inside the aluminum extrusion, but was made as the cheaper model with big ugly braces on the inside of the door, they cover up a lot of the glass viewing area and are ugly, there are 20+ galvanized hex self tappers in each window frame that were promised not to be there, the color was supposed to be champagne, but shipped light bronze... I called the vendor and told him to come see it and discuss on Monday.... I need a drink!
Thanks for posting that Larry, it's always good when the local media gives you free advertising. Couldn't have made it happen without the affordability of StillDragon products!

That's awesome @Fastgreg. I have a feeling that more than a bunch on here have dreams of following in your steps and all the other Pro's here as well. :-c
Yes he has really been knocking it out of the park. We did get a chance to meet up with him at one of the local establishment in Seattle where his vodka was the featured spirit for the pub crawl event.
He was delighted that within a very short period of time his tasting room was doing very well.
We had a few drinks with JP as I recall.

Also, very cool story @Grip :)
@brewsmith, yes, Kevin is an engineer and his dad is an accomplished welder and pipe fitter.
He designed his own CIP solution.
No plate disablers how ever. He is making vodka and needs all of the phase change he can get from his system.
