you can move the plates, caps, and down comers back and forth between the CD and dash
Unless you really do not want to disassamble and unless I am mistaken, the plates, caps and DCs can be used for both, which takes off a bit more than 200$. I did not factor in the rods and bolts though.
Now guys, if I have both setups, I will want to use both AT THE SAME TIME!!! How could I possibly just let one sit on the sidelines and watch as the other is being used?

I'm in the middle of setting up a CD and the standard plates work with both.
