I will never bottle beer again, kegging is the only way to go.
BTW, who drinks homebrew straight from the bottle with all the yeast mixed up in it? no wonder they have coolers, so they can't see the beer. Could still taste it though.... :-t
The whole time I watched the video I'm like you guys should be kegging
Who knows man maybe they love a beer
And it means they can split cartons etc
When I showed my wife she was all like
Ahh I like bottles
She's never bottled a single beer
For me adding sugar and filling to 19 ltrs is inspiration
I know what you mean, Coops. I don't think i ever would have got the stamp of approval if Bourbon Girl hadn't been the other half of the double batch bottling team for all those years.
Best thing for her was not having to wash all the empty bottles i'd leave in the laundry sink just so she could do her washing three times a week.
Reckon i'd get kicked out if i said i was going back to bottling. :((
So true I have that exact problem at he moment although I have all the gear for a kegerator except the fridge so once I get my it all sorted there will be no more bottles in the drying rack
I have 13 kegs. I generally use 6-8 of them, the rest of the beer is in cubes ready to ferment. Only bottles i ever use are soft drink bottles with carbinator caps when i go camping that i fill from my taps.
