PID (In Manual) Control of SSR for Boiler

Been gone a while, got lost in brewing for a few years.... Going to start to build a new still.

I have a brewery control panel that I use to control power into my brewery boil kettle. Manual PID and SSR (zero crossing). I would like to use it to control power into my new still boiler.

My question is, unfortunately it has a minimum 2 second duty cycle. Said another way, at 50% power it is on for 1 second, off for 1 second.

I can't see those pulses in a rolling boil of beer but would that show up on the plates of a column still?
