Caribbean Rum Machine

edited May 2023 in Usage

Howdy y'all,

I'm hoping for some help understanding the work flow of the StillDragon Caribbean rum machine from a professional perspective.

I can see it you'd charge the boiler for the first time, run it and collect your high and low tails in the retorts, then you are left with X gallons of first run low wines that will need to be rerun at least once more. But you are ready to charge the boiler again and run it in the traditional Jamaican fashion. That said, I feel like I'm missing something... once you reach the end of that hearts run do you bypass the retorts, drain the spent contents, and collect the high/low tails again or do you have to start the whole process over again?

Any ideas and help would be appreciated l
