Any ideas about cleaning copper? White vinegar or Citric Acid ?
I'm doing a trial with caustic soda. And concrete etcher And Beer line cleaner (powerful acid based)

4 inch copper plates after being boiled in water with citric acid.
FYI - that blue water is $$$ being dissolved and pink copper is not needed for copper to function as a catalyst in a still.

Unless you have an accumulation of sticky molasses tar, a simple hose down will do. No need to take it back to virgin copper.
