I was discussing today the topic of .... rectification of denatured alcohol.
Alcohol that has been denatured, can you redistill it so that you get normal 96% neutral as the final result?
Not always, depends on the specific denaturant. I believe for US, many of the approved denaturants were approved because they are not easily removed by distillation. The latter are (I believe) referred to as CDA or completely denatured as opposed to SDA.
