I currently have a 6" vodka column. As an economic progression, I have often pondered the dynamics of having an 8" base for a few/several bubble cap sections then tapered and reduced to 6" diameter with bubble cap sections for the remainder with a 6" dephlegmator. This would allow me to occasionally add 8" sections as economics allow. Any thoughts about how you think the reduction in diameter would work relative to a 6" column start to finish?

I tried it, not worth the effort... you basically are limited to the smallest diameter... Who is ready to see Franken Dragon get built?
But wait REVOLUT is coming to you. ;)
One of these days you'll get a collar / flashing made to spruce up that hole in your mezzanine lol...
