Given me new appreciation for a whole class of cocktails that I thought were largely garbage.
Turns out the 70s ruined tiki style (and men's clothing), and it's never recovered in the mainstream, the tiki not the polyester.
Pretty amazing history, and the rum heads here would flip at the rums these guys use to make froo froo drinks. No speed rack spirits here.
Good stuff, eye opening. Lots of great ideas.
