Gday from the Deep North Downunder

G'day,

I am fairly new to the science of distilling. I started out with an off the shelf SS CM reflux column still which I sold to help finance a 2" modular SS set up, pot still and a VM reflux column still. I have a 3/4" over 1/2" Liebig PC which I can use on either the pot or VM. Gotta love a modular set up aye!

My set up:

  • 50L Beer keg boiler, 2200W element, power controller
  • Modular SS Pot Still 2" with 3/4" - 1/2" Liebig
  • Modular SS VM Reflux Column 2", Big Baby RC, 1200mm SS scrubbie packed column, 2"x2"x2" tee at the takeoff, 3/4" SS gate valve using the same Liebig as the pot
