I bought one to see if it would work for my setup and it did but when I went to order another they changed the design eliminating the hex on the fitting. The hex is crucial to what I'm doing so hoping maybe someone has one they don't need or would want to trade for the new style without the hex if it doesn't matter for your use. The one I need is the one in the attached picture.
It is the 3/4" TriClamp to 3/8" Male Thread Adapter from the North America StillDragon website. They are $11 from StillDragon and I would be willing to pay $25 plus shipping for the right one or trade the new style without the hex for old style with hex plus $15 for your trouble.
Thanks.

I'm still looking for one of these and if anyone has one like the one in the picture I'd pay $50 since it would prevent major changes to my system.
I have a stack of female 3/8ths if that helps at all with the hex?

A 3/8" close nipple should make the connection work with @punkin's fitting.
I'm more like I am now than I was before.
Still looking and willing to pay $50 for one.
I have 3/4" Tc X 3/8" female adapters and 3/8 nipples.

If not off the shelf go and weld it up. ... 3/4 tri clamp ferrule to 3/8 nipple. Maybe a concentric reducer might also be required.
Unfortunately the male with the hex is the only route that will work for me. Tried other methods to create this bulkhead fitting and they didn't work.
I can make one if you will take whatever size hex is on a standard 3/8" stainless hex nipple, that hex looks really big, which is nice for a bulkhead weldless application... lemme look at what I have..
More than you want to pay but is this it?

If you don't need pharma grade you could build it for heaps cheaper. Thats exactly what Grim offered to build.

Cheaper. But its late and I am tired. Is this it? Adapter, MNPT, PL Finish - Bio-Pharm Fittings @ GVC Direct
You need a flat flange for a gasket I presume?
I could try welding a flat washer to an MNPT adapter fitting. I'd need to get a near perfect fitup and try to very quickly fusion weld it without warping the washer.
Or, if you have a FNPT, weld on the short nipple and the washer.
@CothermanDistilling - was this what you were suggesting?
You could always get a Stainless Steel 304 Cast Pipe Fitting, Hex Locknut, MSS SP-114, 3/8" NPT Female and braze it to the threads. you can locate one here

if you need more thread use a tap to increase your thread length. Just my 2 cents.

Picture is close but description is for a female npt
I'm gonna hold off on fabricating anything and see if anyone that might have one sees the ad. The wide hex flange does sandwich a gasket really well. The female fitting from Still Dragon NA mates up perfectly with the male and the two almost thread all the way together, something I haven't seen with tapered threads so it makes for a great triclamp weld less bulkhead

Have you not got enough thread length to just screw on a 3/8" flanged backnut? It is probably close to the dimension of the hex flange.
My brewing system uses tri-clamp fittings and the male and female 3/8" NPT to 3/4" tri-clamp fittings are threaded in a way that they almost completely thread together making an easy, clean bulkhead fitting with nothing more than a silicone gasket between kettle wall and fitting. My still is simple and doesn't require the all this but the beer brewing setup, the way I have it setup, does.
Still looking at other options but this would be the easiest for me. Unfortunately I live in a town without a competent welder or machinist.
Yes I understood that. What I meant was on the TC-male adaptor, is the thread long enough to screw on a flanged backing nut (as an alternative to the hex section), then go through the bulkhead, then screw into the female fitting?
Found this behind stuff.

Had a look for you but couldn't find male adaptors with more than about 8 threads exposed, so if you screwed on a back nut you would not have enough thread left to make a decent joint into the female fitting.
If you don't wish to use a proper bulkhead coupling (with two female threaded sockets) then the best alternative I could think of is a simple 3/8" NPT Male/Female adaptor. Use that to make the bulkhead fitting with the 3/8" Female TC, and screw the TC-Male into the female end of the adaptor.
Might be a workable alternative for you.
Thanks for looking @Smaug, I wish it was a male threaded adapter.
seems 3/8'' is the problem, can you change the line to 1/2'' ?
seems to be an available sized fitting
