Importing to South Africa

I would like to know how the procedure works to import an SD Still to South Africa. Can I do it as a private individual, or do I need a company to help me clear it. Has anybody done this recently. Cheers

Technically you require an importer's custom code.

Sometimes cheaper and easier to use a customs broker even though there is a fee.
