Advice on using a Copper Helmet with a 4" Connection on a Boiler with a 2" Connector

I just wanted to check if using a copper helmet which has a 4" connector on a boiler which a 2" connector would be OK?

I am wonder if going from 2" to the 4"+ copper helmet would cause any issues, such as the amount of vapour being able to pass through, compared to it being fitted to a 4" connector on the boiler?
