Distilled Water

Hello all, There is a thought in business that if someone is willing to pay for it, someone will provide it.........or something like that.

I have a fragrance company that is interested in buying distilled water by the drum. (You do not have to explain they can get it cheaper elsewhere. I get that).

I have a few general questions that I am hoping you all can answer here.

We have a 600l pot still with a 4 plate column.

My questions:

  1. What kind of production time and output can i get?
  2. Is there anything that I should be aware of just distilling water?

They are using it for sanitizer (I know) and will not be drinking it.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. I am aware that other avenues could be more efficient for them. I am just trying to get them legitimate answers.

    Balls to the wall as fast as you can condense.

    Don’t worry about condensing hot either.

    wouldn't this be a great thing for a small continuous, like the GNS continuous? definitely don't have to worry about foaming!
