What happens if you don't install the flow director on a ProCap?
I have a 4" Dash column, which uses 3x ProCaps.
What if the ProCaps in each plate were arranged alternatively, i.e. a ProCap does not sit directly above another ProCap?
If I do use the flow directors, which way do they point?
I have seen photos/videos where they point inwards to the centre of the plate below.
I have seen another video where they alternate:
Thanks

You can do it any of those three ways. So long as it's not dumping into the downcomer of the cap below you're golden.

ProCaps don't flood easily and you would probably be fine, but why not install them? Alternating the caps would certainly help avoid pouring directly into the center of the cap below..
As an aside, I have to say that for brandy production, not having the flow directors installed is really not a bad thing.
Think " judicious smearing ".
