When you say 4’’ dash what are your meaning.
A 4 inch will go straight on a milk can but in a lot of cases there would be a reducer or in my a expander ( same ) 4 to 5.
Depends on available height but a 100 or 155 mm is all you need.
I do like a piece there but does not need to be much - just enough to set it off.
Welcome @Rosie. This is the best distilling web board on the web. Great crowd here. There a lurkers and learners, distillers and pretenders but all up a good crowd. And SD gear is the best.
Hi @DonMateo, thanks for welcome, yes I have been lurking for a couple of weeks now and just joined, certainly is a friendly forum, I am looking forward to learning loads
The best thing I like about this forum is there are lots of guys who started lurking here and else where. Did some home distilling and then started small distilleries, and in some cases not so small distilleries. Lots of great advice and lessons learned.

How many plates you buying ad what do you intend to make mostly. What country.
In UK, was thinking 3 plates and a 500 mm extension tho cover most things as will be trying to make most things
All good. I am in Oz. Plenty of info on this site to get you going along all paths. Happy distilling when you get set up.
Thanks for your help, I have been reading through this site for a while now, great information

Thank you, FloridaCracker very kind
You can just clamp the tees directly to the can. There's no need for a spacer.
