Friend of mine found this rum on the bar back somewhere in Italy and tried it. Said it was fantastic but couldn’t identify where it was from or where it was made.
I can’t seem to find a way to read the upc for some reason. Also I’m unsure if the markings on the cap are all tax markings or actual labeling which might hint at country of origin.
She said she wasn’t sure if it was made in Italy or not. My Google fu is normally pretty decent and I can’t find much.
@MotherOfDragon I have to ask how you found this? My friend says she went to a distributor and everything to try to find the stuff, but with no luck. She’s interested in what clues you used.
I found it by looking at the labels and guessing a bit. I saw that the first letters were Mantova at the white part of the label and at the black I first guessed "ori". I tried different combinations, like Mantovaori and rum, and got a suggestion of another spelling and voila there it was :)
@MotherOfDragon definitely used the force on this one. She is like the Rey from Star Wars of the SD forum. I tried to do the same and got stuck and gave up.

Tell your friend to write down all the details from the label, I'm sure the detail is there.
Yeah cant read much of the label/markings. Too much visual noise.

you know, there IS a bar code on it and we are limited by forum resolution here, so crop the hi-res image and re-attach...
William Fly? The pirate?
Did my best to Google everything I could read, I've got the 11th dan in Googling ;-) A high-res picture would certainly help.
I thought captain William fla.

I've got a feeling it's from Spain, not Italy because of the cap markings but that's just a guess.
I think I've found it. Slightly different bottle though.

Your google-fu is strong, sensei. I’ll pass that along to my friend.
