I have burned it in a stainless bowl before, but wanted something safer...
I just got this, should burn about 1L/hr...
This one is not really rated for outdoors, but I wanted automatic...

Try pitching them into a ferment toward the start. I haven't (yet) gotten in trouble while adding a batch worth of heads to a fresh batch.
