Been quiet for awhile, doing things.
Decided to make Tiny more usable, now its 620mm high, 600mm wide.
So now its ~175 L
Need to add port for element, and supports for gas burner.
Also want to make skirt for it. anyway here are some pics...
Plasma cutter works great, and starting to get the hang of TIG, I only have a TIG torch on a DC inverter ARC welder...
Found a neat way of adding ferrules, weld two together.. 2in ferrule dont fit 2in BSP valve...

Does that ball valve still seal now you've dumped all that heat around the seals?

sure does, I welded ~1/4 at a time and cooled it in a bucket of water

I love how the legs are removable, but we shall see what happens with ~200kg of weight on the thin wall tubes..!

you could add a brace around the legs maybe use thee more keg speers... :))
I tried to TIG weld the spear tubes, my welders lowest current setting is 20A and all I do is blow holes thru it.

run a length of threaded stainless rod down the inside of each one?
find someone local that has experience... I think my my welder only goes down to 20A, but with a foot pedal, you can use a lot less than that... and I have made quite a few things from keg spears and would guess I had it set at 35-40A.
