up and down loops seem kludgy and inefficient and not artsy (to me, my opinion)... maybe a water cooled plate with threaded sockets for copper rods with threaded ends... a porcupine dephleg!
they are soldered on, so has to be lead free, and soldered very carefully in the future... no brazing or welding.... also, would be best in a cross-flow, longitudinal fins best for vertical pipe orientation in a condenser... just sent inquiry to turbotecproducts.com about getting a couple dozen 1 foot pieces of their TruTwist tubes...

What about copper tube with copper fins... this is the tubing they can gap it so it can be bent at a later date.. into a Ubend...
Finned tubes with gaps

No solder here ... is a press fit copper to copper
nice!
whattya think would be best, a cross-flow condenser?
