I used to get 1.2l an hour of 95%+ with my 2" VM and up to 5l an hour with a 3". 1.2 is about standard max with a vm and a lot of people will run as low as half that speed.

I don't think personally I would want to run any slower, there's not enough hours in the day for me, I'll have to get to 3" sooner rather than later.
I'm going to try the ACE with only packing and no plates, on top of my torpedo, maybe even add a 4" crystal dragon with a couple of plates into the middle of the torpedo, it'll be interesting to watch and should give me an idea what take off speed it'll produce.
I'd be happy If I could get 2.4 lt/hr out of it at 94%ish
@Anavrin , you have all the answers now mate. And now you know why most 2" VM users upgrade to 3" ;)
