Was at the local fair today & found Lloyd's car!
A classic piece of late 50's German engineering. According to Wikipedia the Alexander TS was a 596cc 2 cylinder four-stroke producing 25hp. It could hit 107 km/h (66 mph) in 4th gear!
I want one!
It's a cracker. I'm sure Lloyd would be very proud to trundle down the shops in that.

The mazda r360 next to it (you can see it in the middle pic) was completely original. It sat in a shed for the last 20 years! It still had the foam sound proofing in the engine bay.
For all of you that have had the pleasure of meeting LLoyd, I would have to say the resemblance is quite striking. =)) =)) =))

That car looks like it is smiling at me.
I love all the old cars, the quirkier the better.
Gotta admit though I've never seen one personalized for me before.
@crozdog that's as good as a Fait Bambino :))
I noticed NSW Historic Vehicle on the plates. Is that NSW Oz if so where was the show.
I know I'm a bit off topic but Lloyd did say the quirkier the better. :D
@Brewhaha it was at the Burwood festival. There were a few Arbarth's + a classic 56 oval vw
I can see Lloyd in any of these :.....
I like this car
But I also like this car
@crozdog use to go through Burwood (Parramatta Rd long time ago) from the burbs to Central on the way to work.
@Law_Of_Ohms =)) ... Nice selection
@Lloyd Both have classic lines but I think I'm going with the newer model-s :D
Uhhhh I see an old car in one pic. I don't see a car in the other. Are you sure there is a car.
How could you miss it? It's right there!
Isn't that a Jag?
Sorry, I still see no car.????
