Reyka Vodka
So has anyone else tried Reyka Vodka? It is extremely good, nice smooth mouth feel and a very different flavor then i have ever tried before. It does not have much burn for an off the shelf vodka!
According to the website, they distill a wheat and barley mash and then run it through a carter head basket loaded with arctic lava rocks as a filtration medium.... So in my mind it shouldn't work in vapor form but maybe it would?? I can get a box of Hawaiian lava rock for not much on eBay and I'm tempted to try it. It would be a nice unorthodox way to break in my new GB4 thats for sure.
Also, if you look at the spirit in the bottle, you can kind of see a colorful film on top, is that glycerin? I have heard about that being used to give a better mouth feel but not knowing what spirits have it and which don't its hard to tell if it is.
