I want to make my still run a little faster, I have a 2" reflux still and I want to changes things step by step, until it's a full 3" still.
What's the best thing to do first, buy an other boiler with a 3" connection and use a reducer to 2" ?
Or use a reducer from 2" to 3" and buy some 3" pipes and 3" dephlegmator ?
I have a 2" T500 boiler / 2000 Watt now.

Use an end cap reducer. The vapour will just speed up through the restriction and then slow down again.

But where to put it ?
Assuming your kettle has a 2" column connection, attach the 2" end to the kettle and the 3" end will be the new column connection.
No need to worry about bottle necking.

Great, that's where I will start with, thanks
Don't know where in the world you are but i still have my old copper VM column leaning up against a wall somewhere if you are interested and in Australia.

I'm down below you, in the Netherlands.
Put a torpedo with a thermo well on the connection between your boiler and column. It may not speed things up, but it will give you a whole lot more stability and insight into what’s going on in your column.
I'm more like I am now than I was before.
And a fill port.

An alternate option. If you want more speed maybe you just throw more power at it. Bump to 4500 watts. If you have enough cooling power this would be a simple intermediate option for you.
Diameter = speed, height = purity. That's all you need to know. i went from 1.2l/hr with a 2" VM to 4.5l/hr with a 3".
If you push more power at a reflux unit (assuming you are talking VM or LM) you'll get more speed at the cost of purity.

I have a T500 25 liters boiler 2000 watt, element is attached underneath the bottom, I can weld a 2" adapter on the boiler for an extra element, how much watt can a boiler of 25 liter handle ? even if it's for fast heating up.
There's no need for a 25l boiler. You are better off putting the funds towards a keg boiler.
