  • Alice Weidel seems to put things very plainly....

  • Well, no surprise there considering they advertised leaving the EU themselves. Their base is mostly right wings flirting with Nazi ideologies and groups. That kills credibility in my book.

  • In the end, the markets will sort it out. It's going to be an extensive experiment but the tests will be up for analysis in two years...

  • didn't take long for the N word to appear... and just because they are having issue footing the bill for all the cheap and lazy 'club med' states...

  • wolf in sheep’s clothing. follow them and you‘ll see their dangerous affiliations...

    Nazi = National Socialist Party

    Misrepresenting Nazis as far right is part of the revisionist history the left is so fond of doing.

    A bit of reading will reveal the true history of the Nazi party.

  • In the UK, it is sad that Brexiteers are accused as being either stupid or right wing extremists. I see it all the time in Facebook postings. I doubt many Brexiteers think the UK will be financially better off in the short-term. It's not about the money. There are stages in life when your "inner chimp" (the Chimp Paradox) tells you enough is enough. A large number of people want the UK to govern itself. It's as simple as that.

  • @JayTee I totally get your point. Not implying that the brexiteers are right wing or nuts. That was reserved for the AfD speaker...

    Brexit was grossly understated in complexity and gain during the referendum and what's left is something really messy where there's no winners. Both UK and rest of EU economies will lose.

  • curious, what did she say (please quote actual words from THAT speech) that was nuts?

  • In this- as isolated and out of greater context as it is- nothing. But eloquence doesn't disprove that they are wolf in sheep's clothes. AfD is showing up also and speaking at Göhring rallies. Also, Ted Bundy made very reasonable speeches as well, so what's your point?

    Membership in the EU is intensionally incidious in its complexity and tenaciousness. Once the leaches get a hold on you they will do anything they have to, to keep you from getting away.

  • @CothermanDistilling, I believe your last post refers to what Scotland is currently in the process of doing: Independence from rUK.
