Found this little beauty at an independent bottle shop in Noosa today. Couldn’t walk past it having read a little about @Ryno on here. Very much looking forward to trying it tonight.
It got me thinking - this bottle is obviously very distinctive and I recognised it from the forum. But others made on SD gear I perhaps wouldn’t recognise. It would be great to have a list of all the spirits made around the world with SD gear and links to the websites or Online stores and locations where they can be bought.
Seeking these spirits out would be one way lurkers like me can show our appreciation of SD and this amazing resource.

I have a bottle here that look very similar. Mine is hand numbered 4 of 8. Came from before @Ryno got the big SD units.

They are still hand numbered, this one is B26-110 of 200. I guess that is batch 26, bottle 110 of 200?
I had and have something in mind about that, but I'm lacking the time to play around with that idea. We have a license for a directory software that would perfectly suit that purpose. I'll set myself a reminder on the to-do list. ;)

if that global thing ever gets in the direction of @smaug or I in Florida, USA, I would be happy to pay or trade a bottle of my finest whiskey for that whey gin...
I'll give Ryan a shout and let him know, i'm sure he'll be keen.

That is a beautiful machine!
I'm more like I am now than I was before.
Couldn't find a pic of his stripper, it's also a beauty.
edit;
lifted this from his facebook page. The tees are empty it's just a potstill disguised as a column. All done to @Ryno s specs.

Why disguised as a column?
Probably just what was on hand to get his elevations as user friendly as possible.

Modularity and versatility. It's what SD stands for.
With the addition of 4 plates and a reflux condensor he would have a Dash 1.

Yeah, sometimes the condenser plumbing becomes a bear to deal with when the column height varies, so it's just easier to remove and add plates rather than the whole sections.
Not to mention the end user's collection height preference.

AH HAH! The old "Modularity and versatility" trick.
Missed it by -that- much!

That's exactly how I do my stripping runs; just remove the plates, then go.
