Remember Hunters Old i believe it was called? Bloody long time ago. Did that become Tooheys Old?
Can still buy Brown i believe. It was my drink of choice for many years but it dwindled till sometimes you'd see it at a little club somewhere only. And that was only cause one of the directors drank it.
Pity, a great beer.
I'll console myself with all the great craft beer on tap at the clarendon i guess.

Read the Clarendon speal in that connection. Well done Clarendon. Hotels these days have to keep trying to keep the customers coming and that would tempt me to visit. Maybe it was the Black I was remembering but i would guess its close to a stout. I drank Tooheys Old for years even when i moved to South Australia. Only when i started brewing myself that i went to Coopers Pale Ale when drinking out.
