  • Has anyone ever looked into open source ERP systems? I'm currently playing around with ERPnext and looking into WebERP as well. The latter requires more software knowledge to set up it seems, so not ideal for me. A lot of my work is the business side of ERP design so I'm fairly familiar with the concepts, just lack the coding/development skills...

    Anyone tried these?

ERPnext is currently my favorite, there's even an app that you can load on your phone. It's free for 1 user, if you wanna go beyond that you'd have to sign up for some of their basic packs (believe is was about 20 bucks/month). But again - all features are free if you just need 1 user, so for small scale it should do :)

  • Haven't played with any, but reckon odoo looks pretty good.

Depending on what u are looking for, Xero might be worth a look, primarily accounting/financial, but lots of add-ons available including time sheeting, expenses, inventory, ERP/MRP, POS etc etc
