Budget has come down with 60% back on small distiller excise to $30k. That reduces excise from $24 per bottle to $10 for the first 2000 bottles. (If my fuzzy head calcs are right!)

How many are there?? I know the ADA have been working hard behind the scenes.
Recent efforts via fixmytax.com but since I think they are funded by DSICA (aka the big boys like Diageo) I Wonder if that campaign will end as they only got a small fix that doesn't do much for the big boys!

BTW the govt now say there are 100 licenced distilleries in Australia!

We have 2 automatic excise increases between now and when the proposed relief comes to fruition. Assuming the government of the remains in power after the election.
I hope they go down like a sack of shit of course.
Still i think labour would hopefully honour this.
