Hi Guys
Just a quick and hopefully easy question.
I have 3 x 4" plates (2 ProCap and 1 standard)
Then a packed section made from a 6 section high Baby/Ace Glass Tower for neutral.
If I replace the packed section with one or two 4" 510mm sections, will the Big Baby Dephlegmator be sufficient to produce enough reflux and more importantly allow enough flow to achieve around 3lt/hour product takeoff?
Or would I need to invest in a 4" Dephlegmator?

One way to find out.

Yes, but without throwing more money at more shiny stuff, I thought I'd ask the question first.
How much power? That's the only important bit of info but you left it out.
I have a boiler made from a new 50 keg, I never charge with more than 35 litres with 3.3KW max power.
My apologies, i thought you were getting the packed section any way and just wanted to know whether the parts you had would do the job before forking out to get the extra dephlag.

No worries, I'm just a hobby level distiller, so I need to make informed decisions before I splash my cash.
Although I'm often guilty of ordering shiny stuff late at nigh after a few drinks!!!!
I have never felt regrets about more distilling bling.
Buy what you can afford. Thank me later.
